Our Assistant Managers understand the value of providing movie-lovers with a perfect movie-going experience! In this role, you will be expected to: Understand and assist with the execution of operational policies and procedures; (labor, cost of sales, revenue control, speed of service, guest satisfaction, equipment and procedure training, safety of guests, staff and ensure quality of on-screen movie presentation) Assist with various administrative processes during slower business level activity i.e. recruitment, completing initial hire procedures, data entry, running and compiling reports etc. Assist with the selection, training, development and employment experience of the staff Have a comprehensive, working-knowledge of and ability to train others on pertinent systems (POS, phones, lost & found, theatre lobby & cinema checks, etc.) Understand and ensure all food safety guidelines are followed as prescribed by MJR policy and industry standards Assist with the monitoring of guest satisfaction and service recovery opportunities, consistently identifying opportunities to enhance the move-going experience. Follow work safety guidelines and ensure staff members are aware of and adhere to safe work practices Assume role of "Manager on Duty" when deemed necessary Assist with other issues related to the Daily Floor Management as needed
