The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Assistant General Manager in leading daily operations, driving team performance, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. This role bridges the gap between shift-level leadership and upper management, providing operational oversight, mentoring team members, and helping implement strategic initiatives. The Assistant Manager is expected to lead by example, uphold brand standards, and contribute to a culture of excellence and accountability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations and guest service excellence.
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Exemplify the Triple T Hospitality experience.
  • Dedicate oneself to delivering GREAT guest service, consistently going above and beyond for both guests and team members.
  • Supervise and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Support training and development initiatives to build a high-performing team.
  • Oversee shift operations including opening, mid, and closing procedures.
  • Ensure consistency in service, cleanliness, and food quality.
  • Actively engage with guests to ensure satisfaction.
  • Resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Manage inventory levels, assist with ordering, and ensure proper stock rotation and waste control.
  • Assist in managing labor costs and scheduling to meet business needs and budget targets.
  • Enforce health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, equipment functionality, and overall environment to ensure a safe and welcoming space.
  • Understand and contribute to achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, labor, and cost goals.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to implement new programs, promotions, and operational improvements.
