About The Position

Windsor Fashions is a leading special occasion and fast fashion retailer committed to providing a broad selection of on-trend apparel for all the occasions in a woman’s life. Their mission is to create an oasis that inspires and empowers women. As a Windsor Assistant Manager, you are a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the mission statement within your store. In partnership with your Store Manager, you are responsible for achieving store productivity in terms of sales, shrink, payroll, and expenses. You are also tasked with coaching and motivating a high-performing team of fashion-loving Stylists while ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail management experience.
• Proven leadership experience and an ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees.
• Quick thinker and able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates.
• Effective communicator in both a group setting and one on one.
• Welcome feedback and are ready to improve always.
• Flexible and reliable schedule, including opening and closing the store.
• Frequently stands, walks, observes, bends and pushes.
• Must be able to count, communicate, read and write in English.
• Must be able to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register area.
• Must be able to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to move or handle merchandise or supplies throughout the store (generally weighing from 0-25 pounds).
• Must be able to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store.
• Build brand loyalty by providing an omni channel Oasis experience to every customer.
• Provide feedback to do more with less and create value for the brand.
• Support the Store Manager in finding the right talent.
• Consistently make new networking connections to ensure your store has a wide talent pool.
• Commit to an exceptional onboarding experience that supports the store’s retention goals.
• Organize and plan in ridiculous detail to get the job done.
• Own the sales floor to ensure you execute daily operations and create the Oasis for your customers.
• Partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training with your team.
• Lead by example, communicate clearly and foster a culture of continuous improvement with our stylists through recognition, coaching, feedback, and utilizing company tools and programs.
• Follow all Windsor policy and procedures, knowing integrity is mandatory.
• Support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive in partnership with the Store Manager.
• Always maintain a neat, clean and tidy store in compliance with Windsor’s Visual Guidelines and make smart merchandising decisions.
