About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at 1617 Veterans Ave., Vandalia, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving business goals Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise Create and adjust employee schedules to optimize staffing levels Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records Implement and enforce company policies and procedures Contribute to a positive work environment and promote team collaboration Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in retail or food service management
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling techniques
  • Experience with cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
