About The Position

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager at our Jeffersontown location! We're seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to help lead our store operations and drive success. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing and motivating team members, running shifts efficiently, handling financial transactions, interacting with customers, assisting in implementing company policies, contributing to a clean store environment, collaborating with management, participating in training, and ensuring food safety. The company is looking for someone with leadership experience, a clean driving record, a reliable insured vehicle, a valid driver's license, and who can be a great role model. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as stores are open 365 days a week. The role is for individuals at least 18 years old and offers valuable work experience in a fun and flexible environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in retail or food service management, with a track record of running successful shifts
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Solid mathematical aptitude and money management abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions
  • Proficiency in multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and commitment to maintaining quality standards
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Experience leading a team (3 to 15 people)
  • Clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Access to reliable vehicle that is insured
  • Valid driver's license
  • High standards for self and team (role model)
  • Willingness to work when the team needs you the most (weekends and holidays)
  • Must be at least 18 years old
