About The Position

Windsor, a company with a mission since 1937 to help women feel beautiful, is seeking an Assistant Manager. The company, family-owned and operated for generations, offers an "Oasis experience" in over 200 stores and through its online shop. As a key member of the store leadership team, the Assistant Manager supports the store's mission by partnering with the Store Manager to achieve productivity goals related to sales, shrink, payroll, and expenses. This role involves coaching and motivating a high-performing team of fashion stylists while fostering a respectful and dignified work environment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail management experience
• Proven leadership experience and an ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees
• A quick thinker and able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates
• An effective communicator in both a group setting and one on one
• Welcomes feedback and is ready to improve always

Responsibilities

• Drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store by building brand loyalty and providing an omni channel Oasis experience to every customer, and provide feedback to create value for the brand.
• Support the Store Manager in finding and retaining great talent by consistently networking and ensuring an exceptional onboarding experience to support retention goals.
• Organize and plan daily operations in detail, owning the sales floor to execute tasks and create the Oasis for customers.
• Partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training with the team, leading by example, communicating clearly, and fostering continuous improvement through recognition, coaching, feedback, and company programs.
• Maintain integrity by following all Windsor policies and procedures.
• Support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive in partnership with the Store Manager, maintaining a neat, clean, and tidy store in compliance with Visual Guidelines and making smart merchandising decisions.
• Live and promote Windsor values, delivering best performance daily by fostering a culture of respect, care, ownership, and personal commitment.
