About The Position

This role is ideal for high-energy team builders. The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager by coordinating and taking ownership of team tasks and assignments. Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations such as cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. The position also involves developing future managers by setting a positive example and mentoring the team. Adherence to company policies and procedures is expected, and the Assistant Manager will ensure the crew also follows them. Daily encouragement of current team members and active recruitment of new talent are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of all operational task and ability to train those tasks
  • Operate all equipment
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
  • Prepare product correctly at an advanced pace
  • Receive and process telephone orders
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Clean store and equipment daily
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Ability to infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder
  • Ability to perform forward bending at the waist (approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day)
  • Ability to crouch/squat occasionally
  • Ability to perform continuous reaching (up, down and forward)
  • Eye-hand coordination is essential
  • Use of hands is continuous during the day
  • Frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists (shaping pizza dough)
