About The Position

The Assistant Manager is fully accountable for all aspects of their shift, encompassing cost, inventory, and cash controls, as well as customer relations. This role demands leading by example, strictly adhering to all company policies and procedures, and ensuring the team does the same. Key duties include managing staffing, handling paperwork, overseeing food management, scheduling, maintaining store image and operational standards, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring team attendance and punctuality. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for store cleanliness, marketing efforts, and overall profitability. Beyond managerial oversight, the role involves hands-on tasks such as operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing orders, conducting inventory, and daily cleaning. Additionally, the position includes specific driving duties like product delivery and distributing promotional materials, requiring a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, and strong navigational skills.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
  • Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
  • Far vision and night vision for driving
