The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, ensuring the highest standards of Helpful customer service, and directing projects and responsibilities delegated by the Store Manager. This role involves a wide range of duties including opening and closing the store, ensuring safety and security, managing inventory, supervising store personnel for optimum performance, and achieving sales and productivity goals. The Assistant Manager will also be involved in general housekeeping, shopping the competition, leading store meetings, overseeing inventory management, developing promotions, merchandising displays, resolving customer claims, processing weekly hot sheets and price adjustments, and attending mandatory monthly store meetings.
