If you are ready to rise like one of our bagels and grow your career, then becoming an Assistant Manager is for you. Assistant Managers are next in line to be the bagel boss and take ownership of a bakery as a General Manager! What’s a day in the life of an Assistant Manager? Assistant Managers work side by side with the General Manager to lead the team and provide exceptional guest service. Our leaders start as early as 4am to do the first bake and open the store. You will lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for the team. Our bakeries are busy, and you will jump into different roles every shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages for our guests and keep a safe, clean store environment. Assistant Managers will also complete restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management. You will learn valuable skills as you grow into a GM role such as P&L analysis, how to achieve food cost and labor targets, scheduling, and recruiting quality team members. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours and weekends (starting as early as 3am)
  • Must be able to pass background check and possess a current, valid driver’s license
  • ServSafe Certification required prior to completion of leadership training

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team and provide exceptional guest service.
  • Lead by example, be a brand ambassador, and provide ongoing coaching and training for the team.
  • Jump into different roles every shift to ensure high-quality food and beverages for our guests and keep a safe, clean store environment.
  • Complete restaurant administrative duties such as inventory tracking, vendor orders, and cash management.
  • Expected to fill in for General Managers at other locations within the market to cover paid time off
  • Expected to accept a permanent General Manager promotion within the market when available
