About The Position

Part-Time Assistant Property Manager Westminster Towers is seeking an experienced part-time Assistant Manager with HUD experience for our Senior Citizen property. This beautiful 285-unit apartment building is located in Santa Monica. The property has a very low turnover rate and no rent delinquencies.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of property management experience preferred; HUD or affordable housing experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Must have a credit history demonstrating financial responsibility.
Background and credit checks will be conducted before employment.
Commitment to a drug-free workplace

Responsibilities

Complete annual and interim certifications for all residents in accordance with company policies and HUD Section 8 guidelines.
Assist with all aspects of leasing, including processing applications, interviewing prospective residents, preparing documentation for certifications and recertifications, and maintaining accurate waiting lists.
Conduct move-in and move-out inspections in compliance with HUD and company standards.
Support the Property Manager with administrative duties, including rent collection, vendor coordination, and compliance reporting.
Provide exceptional customer service to residents and applicants, maintaining a professional and supportive community atmosphere.
Additional duties as assigned.
