About The Position

Our team is seeking a customer‑driven Part‑Time Assistant Manager to support daily operations at a self‑storage facility. In partnership with the Storage Manager, this role helps deliver exceptional service, maintain a clean and organized facility, and assist with leasing, collections, and administrative processes. The Assistant Manager serves as the on‑site leader in the Storage Manager’s absence. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys interacting with customers and taking on a dynamic role that combines sales, operations, and administrative support.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least 2 years of customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software
  • Dependable, well‑organized, and detail‑focused
  • Availability to work scheduled weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Self‑storage or property management experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Lease units, assist customers, and provide excellent service in person, by phone, and via email
  • Process payments, follow up on delinquencies, and support occupancy and sales goals
  • Prepare deposits, reports, petty cash, and maintain accurate tenant records
  • Inspect the property, submit maintenance requests, and maintain a clean, safe facility
  • Submit daily operational reports and assist with budgeting and tracking
