About The Position

Helping women feel beautiful has been Windsor's mission since first opening its doors in 1937, making beauty accessible to all women. Windsor continues to bring that Oasis experience in over 200 stores and through its online shop. As a Windsor Assistant Manager, you are a key member of the store leadership team, supporting the mission statement. You are responsible, in partnership with your Store Manager, for achieving store productivity in terms of sales, shrink, payroll, and expenses. You coach and motivate a high-performing team of fashion-loving Stylists while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of retail management experience
  • Proven leadership experience and an ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees
  • A quick thinker and able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates
  • An effective communicator in both a group setting and one on one
  • Welcomes feedback and is ready to improve always

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store, building brand loyalty by providing an omni channel Oasis experience to every customer and providing feedback to do more with less and create value for the brand.
  • Support the Store Manager in finding and retaining great talent, consistently making new networking connections to ensure a wide talent pool, and committing to an exceptional onboarding experience that supports retention goals.
  • Organize and plan in detail to execute daily operations and own the sales floor to create the Oasis for customers.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training with the team, leading by example, communicating clearly, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement with stylists through recognition, coaching, feedback, and utilizing company tools and programs.
  • Follow all Windsor policy and procedures, knowing integrity is mandatory.
  • In partnership with the Store Manager, support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive, maintaining a neat, clean, and tidy store in compliance with Windsor’s Visual Guidelines and making smart merchandising decisions.
