The Part Time Assistant Manager is an hourly employee primarily responsible for the operation and supervision of a theatre and its employees. This role acts as a representative to Regal, ensuring consistency with the company's mission statement and policies. Key responsibilities include upholding and administering all theatre policies, training, developing, coaching, and supervising non-management employees. The Assistant Manager is also expected to perform all staff positions as required, operate and maintain all projection and audio-visual equipment, and possess working knowledge of all theatre systems, including Booth and Projection technology. The position involves monitoring risk management, ensuring guest satisfaction, handling financial receipts, controlling costs, purchasing and inventorying supplies, and supervising theatre maintenance. Additionally, the role includes marketing and promotions of feature film engagements, scheduling movie show times, and properly administrating HR-related paperwork. The Assistant Manager may also be involved in interviewing, hiring, scheduling, coaching, counseling, suspending, and terminating employees under the oversight of the General Manager or senior management.
