About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in leading a customer focused, top-line sales driven, profitable and productive store location. The Assistant Store Manager must also inspire and motivate others by exhibiting core value behaviors-including a customer focused selling culture, and ensuring the execution of the Store's KPl's. Assistant Managers also must hold store employees accountable to following all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Display a customer-focused mindset at all times and ensure all team members deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
  • Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, attempting to "solve for yes" and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized store, promoting a safe working and shopping environment to maximize the customer experience.
  • Share feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience.
  • Perform as the floor supervisor role as needed to cover non-peak periods (breaks etc.).
  • Hold self and others responsible for the accomplishment of all operational tasks.
  • Coach and provide feedback on Sales Associate's performance.
  • Support associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
  • Provide direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives and standards.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet all operational needs.
  • Support and execute visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company.
  • Drive efficiency in all operational store processes.
  • Maintain merchandise flow, filling and presentation standards throughout the store and stockroom.
  • Ensure all store associates follow all policies, procedures and all Safety Program practices.
  • Reflect the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion and trends.
  • Inspire and motivate others by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors.
  • Demonstrate willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn what is unknown about product, brands, fashion and trends.
