About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in leading a customer focused, top-line sales driven, profitable and productive store location. The Assistant Store Manager must also inspire and motivate others by exhibiting core value behaviors-including a customer focused selling culture, and ensuring the execution of the Store's KPl's. Assistant Managers also must hold store employees accountable to following all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Display a customer-focused mindset at all times and ensure all team members deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Handle customer situations in compliance with policy and procedures, attempting to "solve for yes" and escalating issues as appropriate.
Maintain a clean and well-organized store, promoting a safe working and shopping environment to maximize the customer experience.
Share feedback from customers with the leadership team to improve the overall customer experience.
Perform as the floor supervisor role as needed to cover non-peak periods (breaks etc.).
Hold self and others responsible for the accomplishment of all operational tasks.
Coach and provide feedback on Sales Associate's performance.
Support associate engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
Provide direction to associates to ensure understanding of company directives and standards.
Prioritize and delegate tasks to meet all operational needs.
Support and execute visual directives and maintain visual standards set by the company.
Drive efficiency in all operational store processes.
Maintain merchandise flow, filling and presentation standards throughout the store and stockroom.
Ensure all store associates follow all policies, procedures and all Safety Program practices.
Reflect the PacSun brand by demonstrating passion and affinity for product, brands, fashion and trends.
Inspire and motivate others by consistently exhibiting core value behaviors.
Demonstrate willingness, aptitude, and initiative to learn what is unknown about product, brands, fashion and trends.
