About The Position

This position will assist in the responsibility of the overall operation, financial performance and growth of Rez Cars. The Assistant Manager will oversee and direct the daily operations of sales associates, service technicians, and administrative staff, ensuring efficient workflow, providing leadership and performance feedback, managing schedules, addressing staffing needs, and fostering a positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to effectively present information to customers.
  • Maintain a Dealer’s License, Salesperson License, and any other applicable license to legally purchase and sell automobiles.
  • Thorough knowledge of cars' mechanical and electronic systems.
  • Competence with a variety of electronic tools.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License.
  • Be insurable under company insurance provider/program.
  • One or more years of sales experience.

  • Preferably in automobile sales (for the one or more years of sales experience).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the overall operation, financial performance and growth of Rez Cars.
  • Create and maintain a welcoming and pleasurable business environment.
  • Learn and own the organization of sales files/records.
  • Track Accounts Receivable (AR) for customers.
  • Send weekly payment reminders.
  • Assist in Titan Storage duties as needed.
  • Assist in legal submissions for non-paying customers.
  • Assist in transportation of purchased vehicles to and from auto auctions, when needed.
  • Prepare automobiles for resale, such as detailing, parking, etc.
  • Perform minor auto repair, such as winterization, fluid checks, operating inspections, wiper blade renewal, etc.
  • Assist Manager with car sales when necessary.
  • Perform snow removal and pick up of debris around the lot.
  • Perform building janitorial duties as needed.
  • Transport automobiles to service contract providers as needed.
  • Contact customers for both car sales and repair work.
  • Set up appointments for repairs, pick-ups, and deliveries.
  • Possibly prepare sales paperwork for customers.
  • Work hours as directed by the Rez Cars Manager.
  • Perform all other job related duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
