Starting wage is $15-20/hr depending on experience We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our location in Princeton, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring customer satisfaction in our fast-paced food service environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency in operating point-of-sale systems and other relevant equipment
  • Basic math skills for inventory management and cash handling
  • Ability to read maps and navigate delivery areas efficiently
  • Knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs
  • Customer service-oriented with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily store operations, including staff scheduling and inventory management
  • Ensure high standards of food quality, preparation, and safety are maintained
  • Oversee and participate in customer order processing, both in-person and over the phone
  • Train and supervise team members on proper equipment operation and store procedures
  • Manage inventory levels, including receiving deliveries and stocking items
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining company policies and procedures
  • Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals
  • Perform administrative tasks such as record-keeping and reporting
