About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll guide your team through fast-paced days, high guest expectations, and the kind of moments that make this place feel unforgettable. As an Assistant Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations and lead the team on shift—focusing on safety, hospitality, and teamwork. You may specialize in one area (Cafe or Parties), but you support the whole facility as the on-site leader, working closely with the General Manager and Operations Manager to keep the park running smoothly. This role is active and hands-on, with a lot of movement and a wide variety of responsibilities. Success in this role looks like leading with confidence, staying composed under pressure, and helping the team deliver a great day for families.

Requirements

  • Age 18 or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ServSafe Manager Certification, or ability to complete within 30 days
  • Experience in a guest facing hospitality leadership role
  • Ability to lead large teams respectfully and confidently
  • Reliable, professional presence during high-volume shifts
  • Background check and drug screen
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Coach, train, and motivate team members during your shift
  • Hold the team accountable to performance expectations and hospitality standards
  • Foster a positive, safe, guest-focused culture
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD), often the primary leader on-site
  • Oversee all guest-facing and behind-the-scenes areas during your shift
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational flow across the park
  • Respond quickly to guest concerns and resolve issues with empathy
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager and General Manager on expectations and issue escalation
  • Monitor team productivity and guest satisfaction
  • Execute daily checklists, performance benchmarks, and guest experience standards
  • Support food service efficiency, throughput, and accuracy
  • Assist with parties, events, and projects assigned by the General Manager
