About The Position

HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital is seeking an Assistant Manager to join their Surgical Services Team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of Surgical Services experience, with a strong focus on safety, quality, process improvement, and best practice. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, on a day shift, located at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan, WI. HSHS is a multi-institutional health care system serving communities throughout Illinois and Wisconsin, comprising 13 hospitals and numerous community-based health centers and clinics. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice is required
  • 2 years staff nurse (RN) in an acute setting is required
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required where necessary

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s of science in nursing is preferred
  • 2 years experience in a charge nurse, lead nurse, or related position is preferred
