About The Position

Windsor, a fashion retailer established in 1937, aims to make beauty accessible to all women, providing fashion for life's important moments. The company, still family-owned, operates over 200 stores and an online shop. As an Assistant Manager at Windsor, you are a crucial part of the store leadership team, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in achieving store productivity goals related to sales, shrink, payroll, and expenses. You are also tasked with coaching and motivating a high-performing team of fashion stylists, ensuring they are treated with dignity and respect, and upholding the company's mission statement within the store.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of retail management experience
  • Proven leadership experience and an ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees
  • A quick thinker and able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates
  • An effective communicator in both a group setting and one on one
  • Welcome feedback and are ready to improve always

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store by building brand loyalty and providing an omni channel Oasis experience to every customer, and providing feedback to create value for the brand.
  • Support the Store Manager in finding and retaining great talent by consistently making new networking connections and committing to an exceptional onboarding experience.
  • Organize and plan daily operations in detail to ensure execution on the sales floor and create an Oasis for customers.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training with the team, leading by example, communicating clearly, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through recognition, coaching, feedback, and company tools.
  • Follow all Windsor policy and procedures, demonstrating integrity.
  • In partnership with the Store Manager, support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive, maintaining a neat, clean, and tidy store in compliance with Visual Guidelines and making smart merchandising decisions.
  • Live and promote Windsor values, fostering a culture of respect, care, ownership, and personal commitment.
