Your local Ace Hardware is in search of an Assistant Manager who is ready to own their position and be a positive leader for our team. Assistant Managers are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the salesfloor. They motivate the folks around them and delegate daily tasks, along with ensuring the checkout process is always running smoothly for customers and cashiers. The customer experience is the focus of all Ace Hardware employees, and the AM is responsible for assisting employees in providing that experience. A candidate for this position should be excited to lead, learn, and join a team that works well together. The candidate ideally has management experience and feels fulfilled in their job by taking on appropriate amounts of responsibility and mentorship, ready to encourage the growth of the store and its employees. Assistant Managers are often multitasking, covering the floor in all departments, and are up at the register fixing any issues multiple times a day (computer use is a significant part of the job).
