About The Position

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Assistant Manager keeps the atmosphere upbeat and the sweets coming. Every day is delicious and satisfying. We are looking for an Assistant Manager tasked with keeping our bakery running in top speed and who thrives in a fast paced, always changing working environment. This is a full time position.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in an Assistant Manager or Department Manager role in a food service or retail environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Solid history of leadership and the ability to speak to, coach, and motivate staff.
• Strong customer service background with the ability to speak to guests and solve issues.
• Strong problem solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
• The ability to work as part of a team and foster a team environment.
• Food Service Safety Certification or the ability to get certified within 60 days of employment.
• The ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift 50lbs overhead.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the General Manager with: Employee management / hiring / training
• Placing & receiving orders
• Ensuring bakery operations continue without interruption
• Handling customer complaints
• Making daily bake plans
• Working in departments - Baking, Frosting, Crafting, Guest Services
