About The Position

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will manage the daily operations of the restaurant under the guidance of the General Manager, ensuring that all service, quality, and performance standards are consistently met. This role is responsible for supervising front-of-house and back-of-house staff, coordinating shift schedules, monitoring inventory levels, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations. The Assistant Manager will support staff training and development, address guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, and help drive sales through effective cost control and operational efficiency. Additionally, they will assist in implementing company policies, tracking financial performance, and contributing to a positive team culture that delivers an exceptional dining experience for every guest. Training will take place in Dallas and/or Austin, TX until opening

Requirements

  • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.
  • Successful completion of corporate training program required.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with all aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.
  • Handles customer complaints, resolving issues in a diplomatic and courteous manner.
  • Ensures compliance with alcoholic beverage regulations.
  • Conducts daily inspection of restaurant and equipment to ensure compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
  • Periodically evaluates restaurant equipment for repairs and maintenance, schedules for service.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
