Requirements

  • Hospitality and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and math skills
  • Enthusiastic, resourceful, and a problem solver
  • Previous experience as an assistant manager in a hotel or restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and ServSafe
  • Familiarity with food production processes and catering operations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driver's License (Required)
  • Ability to Relocate: Lansing, MI 48917: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front of house staff OR back of house staff
  • Supervise, train and develop employees
  • Coordinate with all staff to ensure smooth food production and timely delivery
  • Plan and execute catering orders and deliveries
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests
  • Ensure excellent guest service and guest satisfaction
  • Balance cash drawers and maintain cash accountability
