About The Position

Under the direction of the General Manager, the Hourly Assistant Manager is responsible for attaining the sales and profit targets established for Rainbow Cone.

Requirements

1-3 years of supervisory/SM experience in a restaurant or retail (restaurants preferred)
High School diploma or equivalent
Drive-thru experience
Demonstrated ability to direct and coach team members
Knowledge of restaurant operations
Multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritizing skills
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Illinois and city of Chicago manager sanitation license
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to lift 40 lbs. comfortably
Ability to stand for 8 hours or more
Availability to work different shifts, including weekends

Nice To Haves

Understanding of ice cream cycles and storage, preferred

Responsibilities

Achieve sales targets
Recognize all revenue areas & development strategies to impact sales
Enforce and execute advertising and marketing plans, and HR and training materials
Manage and control direct expenses
Direct labor, food cost variances, repairs and maintenance, discounts, and other direct expenses
Selection, retention, supervision, and training of all employees
Conduct quarterly reviews
Assist monthly meetings with supervisors to recognize opportunities
Adhere to established training programs
Determine advancement/termination
Develop employees into shift managers
Provide guidance to our talented & motivated team and lead them toward success

R&M reports of the venue and equipment
