We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at 713 N. 77 Sunshine Strip in Harlingen. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily store operations, leading team members, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving sales targets
  • Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive shopping environment
  • Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing merchandise
  • Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards
  • Assist in hiring, scheduling, and evaluating team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
  • Handle cash management and financial reporting responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions
  • Step in for the Store Manager when necessary
  • Proven experience in retail or customer service, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Retail industry knowledge and experience with visual merchandising a plus
