The VM Production Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the VMP Manager with advanced Skills in Production, Site Installations, Material Finishing, Transportation and Asset Management of all Visual elements. The VMP Assistant Manager assists in supervising and leading the shop team to accomplish goals and maintain timelines of execution. Core Expectations: Deliver Exemplary Customer Service through strong ownership and professionalism Research and resolve production issues and implement changes as appropriate Assist in supervising, and empowering an efficient and effective group of Production Staff. Oversee and Lead the communication/follow through of the all Production projects. Be clear and concise in communication while coaching VM employees for better performance, and share feedback with Production manager. Cabinetry / Fine Woodworking Experience Full proficiency in all major power tool use. Ensure all Visual Safety programs and protocols are followed, including shop and visual storage organization. Ability to up hold all safety standards and maintain a safe working environment. Plan, Facilitate/or execute projects, including owning entire project as assigned. Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources. Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb 12’ ladders, and wear respirator as required. Ability to drive delivery vehicles, current driver’s license in good standing. Meet deadlines as outlined by Production Manager. Assist in all aspects of production work. Ability to Travel and work flexible schedules.
