About The Position

Under the direction of Manager, Transportation, the Assistant Manager of Transportation is responsible for the successful daily operation of the Transportation Department, through the implementation of operational plans, tactical execution, data collection and research, initiatives, training, direction, leadership, and team empowerment. The incumbent analyzes Key Performance Indicators to evaluate operational standards and expectations driving shift continuity, and consistency. This position requires a highly motivated, driven, results-oriented and extremely organized individual, with strong leadership and change management qualities. The Transportation Assistant Manager will help create a Best-In-Class guest experience and workplace culture that is consistent with the Tribe's vision, mission, and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of Transportation or Logistics required.
  • Supervisory or training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides operational oversight for Customer Bussing, Shuttle Fleet, Traffic and Event Control, and Valet operations.
  • Implements policies, procedures, and programs to enhance financial effectiveness and operational efficiency of assigned functions.
  • Directs development of training programs and materials.
  • Mentors, monitors, trains, and advises all Supervisors and department team members while executing department directives, goals, and communications.
  • Collaborates with casino leadership to develop and foster an environment of learning, development, open communication and drive team engagement.
  • Supports the interactions and change management efforts involving department initiatives, goals, and objectives.
  • Conducts all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
