This position will act as a liaison to one of the Center's support groups, the Center Stars. Additionally, this position will provide critical administrative support to the Support Groups team by assisting with mailings, meeting materials, event materials, budgeting, and RSVPs.

  • Oversee the Center Stars as the Center liaison
  • Attend Center Stars Board of Directors meetings: prepare board packet materials which includes but is not limited to meeting agenda, meeting minutes, financial summary, and membership report
  • Prepare and deploy all communications to Center Stars membership regarding events, initiatives, or messages from the Center Stars board of directors
  • Prepare, mail, and track fall and spring Center Stars Membership Renewals
  • Maintain Center Stars member database and produce a printed roster annually with updated membership information
  • Coordinate and attend Center Stars monthly events: send out save the dates, prepare response cards, envelopes, and mailing labels for each event invitation, track event RSVPs and provide regular RSVP updates to event chairs and Center Stars President, work with Tessitura Ticketing to assist with event set up within the database, and to charge for events in Quick Sales
  • Prepare all check requests for Center Stars event vendors, member reimbursements, and refunds
  • Assist Star Trek Chair who oversees the Center Stars annual excursion: prepare and mail Reservation Packets, ensure contracts are reviewed by Center counsel, procure contract signatures, work with Tessitura Ticketing to execute trip charges, prepare check requests for refunds at the end of the trip
  • Provide support to the Manager, Support Groups with Angels of the Arts mailings, event charges, and occasional RSVP tracking
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Support Groups with The Guilds Membership process, as well as the planning and execution of The Guilds Holiday Luncheon
  • Provide monthly Center Stars reports to the Senior Manager, Support Groups for Center Board of Directors and Executive Committee Meetings
  • Attend other Support Groups events as needed
  • Assist with Development special events throughout the year
  • Bachelor's degree
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience in Development or related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to write and speak fluently in the English language
  • Experience working with budgets, accounting, and databases at a similar organization, nonprofit experience a plus
  • Previous experience in an administrative role preferred
  • A passion for performing arts is beneficial
  • Knowledge of the performing arts field is a plus
  • Hourly Range: $22.79 - $26.49; Full Time, Non-exempt
