Role and Responsibilities Samsung Electronic America’s Supply Chain Team is responsible for ensuring product availability to meet forecasted demand by the Sales Subsidiary. Forecasts are generated via consensus calls with Sales Teams, Marketing Teams, and with the Samsung Global Operations Center and tracked using spreadsheets, SAP, and Samsung Systems and Tools. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team at Samsung Electronics. This is an exciting opportunity to support the development and execution of Samsung's global supply chain strategy and optimize its performance across the organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and a proven track record of delivering successful operation result. They possess excellent communication skills and a strong passion for operational excellence. The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Demand Forecasting is responsible for leading part of product category and supporting a range of products and SKU’s and working with other Planners within the Department. The assistant manager will play a critical role in managing demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply chain operations for a specific product category and leading part of team members. This position requires working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Business Management, Sales, and Operations, to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing inventory levels.
