About The Position

As an Assistant Manager for Starbucks at ARIA, you’ll help lead daily operations while delivering the warm, familiar coffeehouse experience guests know and love in a luxury resort setting. Through your welcoming smile, hands-on leadership, and attention to detail, you’ll support the team, ensure smooth service, and anticipate guest needs. By taking ownership of the guest experience, you’ll help create uplifting WOW moments and memorable connections that guests will carry with them long after their stay.

Requirements

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in a similar dining environment required

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Manager or Shift Supervisor at Starbucks preferred
• Previous experience managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement preferred

Responsibilities

• Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance
• Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staff as well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall Regulations
• Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues
• Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes
• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing
• Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation
• Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly
• Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations
