About The Position

As the Starbucks Assistant Manager at Park MGM, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and excellence in service. You will help set the tone for an exceptional guest experience during the most important stop of their busy day.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience and service experience in a similar dining environment
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily team schedules, managing time-off and vacation requests while providing coaching and training on company policies, procedures, and performance expectations.
• Supervise cashier operations to ensure accurate adherence to check handling and closing procedures, while overseeing overall service activities to maintain full compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshal regulations, including proper access and egress.
• Collaborate directly with the Chef to address all food service and menu-related matters, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality guest experiences.
• Coordinate supply ordering through the IP System and Purchasing Department to ensure timely and accurate inventory management.
• Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation
• Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly
• Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations
