About The Position

The Assistant Manager at Discount Tire is a key role that provides a pathway to store management positions. This position involves comprehensive training aimed at career advancement within a promote-from-within culture. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for installing new tires and wheels, managing inventory, leading a team of 4-5 technicians, performing tire maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires working full-time, specifically 35+ hours per week during regular business hours, and is 100% on-site. The pay starts at $15 per hour, with immediate openings available.

Requirements

• Must have a leadership mindset
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must have a high school diploma or an equivalent certification
• Must be able to function well in a physically demanding environment

Responsibilities

• Installs new tires and wheels
• Manages new and existing inventory
• Leads a team of 4-5 technicians in a service environment
• Performs maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, repairs, and cleaning
• Provides a world-class customer service experience
• Participates in hands-on, on-the-job training and development
