About The Position

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a Firehouse Subs Restaurant while adhering to all company guidelines and regulations. The role requires ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, wage regulations, and fair employment practices. The individual must master menu knowledge by the end of the second week and ensure profitability by managing food costs, labor, and sales growth. Leadership is essential to maintain superior guest service and uphold the Firehouse Subs culture. The position also involves assisting the General Manager in implementing operational plans, participating in employee management, and ensuring all required documentation is accurate and timely. The role includes promoting Public Safety Foundation initiatives and representing Firehouse Subs positively.

Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License and Insurance.
  • Ability to work on feet for up to 13 hours.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Valid Serv-Safe Food Manager's certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Ensure knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure profitability of business by managing food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness.
  • Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing operations game plans and company initiatives.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees.
  • Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate and completed on schedule.
  • Implement and promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
  • Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional manner.
  • Communicate effectively with the GM and HQ Office Personnel about business issues.
  • Perform outside marketing for catering sales and restaurant growth.
  • Prepare and perform inventory.
  • Obtain a valid Serv-Safe Food Manager's certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Make the Guest number 1.
