About The Position

The remote Assistant Manager, School Operations works with the Manager, School Operations to perform and/or oversee all aspects of school operations with an emphasis on compliance activities at all levels, internal and external to the K12 organization and functions as a member of the school leadership team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Three (3) years of operations, project, or product management/support experience
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience using a student information system and/or other type of database
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clear required background check

  • Management experience
  • Formal project management experience in fast-paced or start-up environment

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Manager, School Operations to project manage major school events, such as Enrollment, Semester End Transition, Year End Transition, and State Testing
  • Develops relationships with education vendors, the districts, state and other education stakeholders
  • Helps maintain student records and data; creates/implements/documents processes that ensure student data validity in K12 and 3rd party databases
  • Assists Manager, School Operations with local, state, and federal reporting requirements
  • Works with Manager, School Operations and administrative staff to ensure the school is compliant with and meets all audit requirements
  • Oversees communication between the Company and districts related to student enrollments
  • Assists Manager, School Operations with the development of school policies and procedures
  • Assists with a wide variety of personnel support issues and may support key office positions
