About The Position

The Assistant Manager in Rural Super Rural (RSR) Operations at Amazon is responsible for leading a team to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance in the delivery of customer orders. This role involves mentoring and motivating team members, collaborating with support teams to meet business objectives, and working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility to work 10-hour overnight shifts and involves physical demands such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Requirements

• High School or equivalent diploma.
• 6+ months of leadership experience in a retail, distribution, or similar environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week, including overtime as required.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.

Nice To Haves

• Experience managing a team of 10+ employees or 1+ year of experience directly managing others.
• Experience with process improvements (Lean Six Sigma and/or Kaizen).
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field.
