About The Position

Provides leadership, manages, and coordinates activities of an assigned nursing department. Participates in the coordination of #patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division,#and departmental mission statement and values.

Requirements

• Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).
• Two years progressive nursing experience in an acute hospital with outstanding leadership skills documented.
• Thorough knowledge of specialty nursing principles, methods, and technique.
• Able to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professional, and families.
• Considerable ability to manage, coach, and provide motivated environment.
• Current BCLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by specialty area.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
