About the position

As the Assistant Manager, Revenue Growth Management - Convenience, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's growth initiatives. Located in Orrville, Ohio, with a minimum in-person expectation of 30% (6 days a month), you will be involved in various aspects of trade management and customer relations. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and approving distributor and retailer customer planners and trade promotions, assisting in the development of trade guidelines and strategy, and maintaining customer contracts. You will also support the sales team with customer presentations and bids, troubleshoot volume planning issues, and assist with trade accruals and forecasts. Additionally, you will monitor pending claims in the trade system to minimize open deduction balances and prevent duplicate claims. Coaching and developing the Analyst, Convenience, and identifying process improvement opportunities will also be part of your role. You will assist with ad hoc analysis and tasks as needed by the department.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve Distributor and Retailer customer planners and trade promotions
  • Assist in development with trade guidelines and strategy
  • Maintain customer contracts and assist sales team with customer presentations and bids
  • Assist in volume planning troubleshooting with the Sales and Broker teams
  • Assist Manager with trade accruals process
  • Assist development of trade forecasts and plans
  • Monitor and assist in clearing pending claims in trade system
  • Work with Brokers and Sales teams to develop SOP for customer trade management
  • Coach and develop the growth and skillset of Analyst, Convenience
  • Identify improvement opportunities to current processes
  • Assist with other ad hoc analysis & tasks as department needs arise

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or another analytical field
  • 3+ years experience in trade marketing, finance, or category management
  • Experience using BI reporting tools (Quicksight, Tableau, Spotfire, Power BI or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple/diverse tasks
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong system and spreadsheet skills, including Excel
