The position involves monitoring and achieving profit, sales, and performance goals, including reviewing the P&L. The role requires optimizing and overseeing the eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and compliance with the company's policies and operational guidelines. A commitment to providing outstanding customer service is essential, and the individual must ensure that all associates uphold this standard. Quality standards must be met, with a review of remakes and enforcement of policies to ensure compliance. Communication with the General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office is necessary, along with providing store reporting as required. The individual will also ensure that store promotions, advertising, and visual merchandising are in place and that all associates and doctors are aware of current promotions. Supervising and motivating Opticians and CL Sales associates, as well as ensuring the timely completion of day-to-day functions, is a key responsibility. Additionally, the individual will assist the General Manager with forecasting staffing needs, recruiting, selecting, and retaining a high caliber staff, while motivating associates to exceed performance standards.
