Manages and directs, with accountability and responsibility, nursing services and staff and coordinates the activities of hospital support personnel during the evening, night, weekend and holiday shifts, ensuring the delivery of integrated patient-centered care and uninterrupted services. Implements policies and procedures, union contract provisions, accreditation and other regulatory requirements. Provides direct patient care and coverage when necessary and within the scope of professional practice and license. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing (DON) and department managers regarding the administrative management of the hospital during these shifts. Keeps the Manager, Nursing Managers informed of issues related to patient care, operations, risk and continuous improvement activities, on a timely basis. Wage Range: $90,626.60 - $135,939.61/year Actual wage is dependent on the applicant's relevant experience and qualifications for this position. The wage range for this position may be subject to change in the future depending on a variety of factors such as market conditions, business needs, legal developments, and other appropriate factors.
