The Assistant Manager's role involves executing the company's brand strategy and promoting its vision, mission, and values, resulting in a great customer experience and maximized sales. By recognizing the importance of our people, we can strengthen the team's contribution toward unit goals being achieved. The Assistant Manager will teach, coach, and provide leadership to the store crew members, maximize store sales through customer satisfaction and food quality, oversee the daily operations of Braum's food service function, grocery market, and fountain sales, and actively participate in monitoring inventory and supply levels, kitchen equipment, safety, and cleanliness as needed. The Assistant Manager will also share in the responsibility for ensuring that Braum's store policies and practices are implemented and followed accordingly. The work schedule varies based on a rotating 3-week schedule with an expected 45-hour work week. This position reports to the Store Manager.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • 2 years of retail management experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must have a valid Driver License.
  • Customer focus and strong work ethic with high standards for integrity.
  • Positive approach to training and developing team members.
  • Ability to build a successful team and create an environment of trust.
  • Effective communication skills with leadership team members.
  • Ability to adapt to customer and employee needs as well as store environment conditions.
  • Organized, detailed, and able to follow practices/procedures.
  • Ability to review, understand, and analyze reporting results.
