About The Position

The Assistant Manager of Merchandising at World Market plays a crucial role in leading a customer-first selling culture alongside the Store Manager. Requirements

• Minimum of 2+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast-paced specialty retail selling culture is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Minimum Age 21 years.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Model and lead a customer-first selling culture through effective routines and engagement behaviors.
• Assess and analyze business trends to identify and solve business opportunities.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performance, customer-focused team.
• Support and maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training and accountability.
• Plan and execute daily business tasks and duties assigned by the Store Manager.
• Utilize company tools to educate the team on merchandising standards and visual presentation skills.
• Manage publication calendar and delivery schedule for visual workload.
• Organize, plan, and execute all signage and graphics in partnership with the management team.
• Validate and maintain all inventory management and data integrity routines.
