The position is for a results-driven warehouse and materials logistics leader with proven success in leading on-site teams to achieve operational excellence and drive continuous improvement. The role involves overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination, supported by strong communication skills that foster clarity, collaboration, and execution.

  • Primary support and Backup of Sr. Manager, Manufacturing materials & Logistics Operations in executing strategic warehouse and logistics plans
  • Supervise daily operations across receiving and storage of raw materials, kitting parts for manufacturing and dispatch functions between warehouse and factories
  • Lead and mentor a team of team Leads and Associates
  • Develop and implement staffing plans and shift schedules to align labor resources with operational demand
  • Assess performance, deliver feedback, and ensure team leads and Assistants are accountable for both individual contributions and functional outcomes
  • Understand and act as a role model in following all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor KPIs like productivity, quality, and customer experience
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve variances through root cause analysis
  • Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and transportation teams to ensure timely material flow
  • Implement process improvements to reduce waste and improve throughput
  • Maintain safety protocols and lead incident investigations when necessary
  • Prepare operational reports and assist in budget planning and cost control
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering (preferred)
  • 3–5 years of recent, proven experience managing diverse teams of 20+ individuals
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse and logistics operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required, including customer support, conflict resolution, and effective teamwork
  • Office, Outlook and working knowledge of WMS principles
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds and regularly perform physical movements such as pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching
  • Capable of standing and walking for up to 8 hours per shift
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred)
  • Relevant certifications such as OSHA, APICS (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD, CTSC), and Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt (a plus)
  • Experience with process improvements (Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma)
  • Industry experience in Footwear manufacturing
