The position involves various machining processes, including the machining of castings and the functioning of the latest CNC machine tools. The role requires programming of Fanuc, Siemens, and Mazatrol controls, as well as solving day-to-day issues to achieve production and quality targets. The candidate will be responsible for process upgrades to improve product quality and overall system efficiency. This includes the consolidation and analysis of rejection and rework, implementing quality assurance techniques for production, and monitoring and improving the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of machines. The role also involves evaluating the Capability Process (CP) and Capability Process Index (CPK) of machines, conducting Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and developing control plans. The candidate will implement corrective and preventive actions through error-proofing and process controls, monitor and improve cutting tool life, and manage maintenance and setup changes of fixtures. Additionally, the role includes participation in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and promoting a 5S culture.
