About The Position

We are a law firm based in Farmington Hills, Michigan, specializing in Consumer and Commercial Collections. We are currently seeking an Assistant Manager for our Pre-Judgment Department in Retail Litigation. This position is ideal for candidates with prior leadership experience and a strong interest in legal work. The Supervisor will oversee various tasks, including document preparation, case docket review, inventory management, and process development.

  • Proven leadership experience is required.
  • Experience with project deadlines and working in both independent and team settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Ability to work regular business hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Candidates must pass a background check and drug test prior to hiring.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the Pre-Judgment Department.
  • Oversee document preparation, case docket reviews, and inventory management.
  • Identify, analyze, and solve problems both independently and within a team environment.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of department processes.
  • Ensure the department meets its high-volume, deadline-driven goals.
  • Maintain strong communication with team members, ensuring clarity on tasks and responsibilities.
