About The Position

As an Assistant Manager at Jimmy John's, you will help oversee in-store operations alongside the General Manager. This role is crucial in ensuring that the store maintains exceptional order and that all employees are performing their duties properly and efficiently. You will lead by example and execute systems and procedures with 100% integrity. An enthusiastic, friendly, and positive attitude is essential for this position.

Requirements

• Ability to work a 40 hour week
• At least 18 years of age
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• Some supervisory experience
• Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment
• Organize and establish priorities in the store with minimal supervision
• Willing to offer opinions and recommendations towards the store and employees

Responsibilities

• Manage 3-5 shifts per week
• Supervise 4-8 employees
• Ensure customer expectations of fast, friendly service and perfect sandwiches are met
• Perform food prep
• Bake bread
• Slice meat
• Build sandwiches
• Lead the sandwich line
• Route deliveries
• Use the POS system
• Complete shift paperwork and closes
• Balance receipts and prepare shift deposits
