We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team, focusing on store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, providing positive customer service, managing merchandise from delivery to sales floor, and maintaining seasonal areas. Key duties include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting with ordering and record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits, and receipts), and implementing loss prevention strategies. The Assistant Manager is responsible for maintaining store standards, securing company assets, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring associates follow policies. A significant part of the role is to help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment. The position also requires maintaining overall store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal. This is a full-time, at-will employment opportunity. Managers may be required to provide background information for specialized licenses to sell alcoholic beverages and/or tobacco products, with non-compliance potentially leading to demotion or separation.
