This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, providing positive customer service, handling merchandise organization and transfer from delivery to sales floor, and maintaining seasonal areas. Key responsibilities include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting with ordering, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits), and loss prevention. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for maintaining store standards, securing company assets, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring overall store cleanliness. A significant part of the role involves supporting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, while fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
