We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join the team, focusing on store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers, managing merchandise from delivery to sales floor, and maintaining seasonal areas. Key responsibilities include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, and assisting with ordering, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits), and loss prevention. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and organization, protecting company assets, and ensuring adherence to policies and safety guidelines. A significant part of the role is to support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment. The position is full-time at Family Dollar, located in Big Timber, Montana. Managers may be required to obtain specialized licenses for selling alcohol and/or tobacco, with non-compliance potentially leading to demotion or separation.
