The Assistant Store Manager will help with store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, positively interacting with customers, and handling merchandise organization from delivery to the sales floor. Key responsibilities include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, and assisting with ordering, damaged merchandise, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits), and loss prevention. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for maintaining store standards, securing company assets, ensuring adherence to policies and safety guidelines, and helping the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates. Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates, and ensuring overall store cleanliness are also part of the role.
